Ford is reopening the reservations books for the electric F-150 Lightning on Thursday. The automaker had stopped taking new reservations in May after receiving over 200,000 as it ramped up manufacturing of the battery-powered full size pickup. The starting price for the 2023 F- 150 Lightning has been increased $7,000, however.

All of Ford’s electric vehicles still qualify for the existing $7,500 federal tax credit. It is unclear how the changes to the Inflation Reduction Act will affect them if it is passed into law. Ford says it will honor current reservation holders of the new F-150.
