Netflix is urging employees to be more fiscally responsible. In April, Netflix saw its first subscriber loss in more than a decade. To recoup on the loss, Netflix is reportedly looking into an ad-supported tier that may come at the end of year. Netflix is slated to spend $20 billion in 2022.

The memo also asks managers if they would try to keep a team member if they were leaving for a similar role at another company. Those who do not pass the keeper test are given a generous severance package. Netflix hit its users with a price increase back in January. The move cost customers anywhere between $1 to $2 more.
