A new memo to Netflix employees says they can't "censor specific artists or voices" The memo comes after many of the company's employees complained about comedian Dave Chappelle's use of the transgender community in his work. The memo also says the company will no longer use the term "artistic expression" in its programming.

"We offer a wide variety of TV shows and movies, some of which can be provocative," the memo read. "We let viewers decide what's appropriate for them, versus having Netflix censor specific artists or voices," it added. "Some of the shows and films we offer... are provocative," it said.
