TOKYO -- Oracle will spend a total of more than $8 billion over 10 years, starting in 2024, to build additional data centers in Japan, as concerns over economic security rise against a backdrop of U.S.-China tensions and other concerns, Nikkei has learned.
The U.S. technology company aims to store and process important data and personal information within Japan.
